Chanthaburi (Sapphire Mines)

An interest scenic journey to the province of Chanthaburi approx. 175 km. South of Pattaya. On the ways, you will stop at a fruit market, where fruits in season are sold. After that you will see mining fields where Sapphires, Topaz and Spinal Rubies are found. One the route will stop at Wat Kao Sukhim and it‘s collection of art and craftsmanship. Then we proceed to small street where the occupations of the residents is cutting and polishing gemstones, such as Rubies, Green,Blue and white Sapphires. After lunch we will continue the trip to Mmat market village,where you can see, try to make the local Mat or maybe walk around and feel the friendly atmosphere.

Pick up from your hotel and have breakfast on the way to Bangkok, after that we will go straight to Floating Market, on the way we may stop at Salt-farm (Salt Lake City in Thailand) depend on season. Next visit is at coconut sugar producer and original Floating Market of the world called Damneon Saduak where almost everything can be bought or sold and see the life of people living by canal and peddling their goods, we proceed to Royal Thai Handicraft factory where we see skillful craftmanship of teak wood and carving products. After that go back for delicious buffet lunch in Bangkok . After lunch we proceed to Royal Palace , Wat Pra Kaew and then return to Pattaya.
