Leave Chiangmai. Visit an orchid nursery and see the beautiful flowers for which Chiangmai is famous. Continue on to a Lisu hill tribe village. Next, stop at "Lod cave" and a Lahu hill tribe village. Visit the "Fish cave", time allowing. Arrive in Mae Hongsorn and stay overnight.

I n the morning, have breakfast and spend approximately one-and-a-half hours riding an elephant through the lush jungle near Mae Hongsorn. In the afternoon, take a boat trip on the Pai River to see a Padown (Long Neck) tribe village. Stay overnight in Mae Hongsorn.

A fter breakfast, visit Wat Phra Thad Doi Kong Moo, the mountaintop temple which offers a scenic view of Mae Hongsorn. Then visit Wat Phra Thad Jong Kam and Jong Klang. Transfer to Mae Hongsorn airport.
