Designed for travelers who have gone to Chaingmai on their own. After enjoying the Chiangmai area, there are many places worth visiting on the way back to Bangkok. Among these are Lampoon, Lampang and Sukhothai, one of Thailand's most historically important cities. Each of these cities developed during a different period and thus has its own unique beauty. After breakfast in Chiangmai, leave for Lampoon by air-conditioned minibus. In Lampoon, visit Wat Phra Thad Haripoonchai, the district's oldest temple. Continue to Lampang where you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city from a horse-drawn carriage, for which the city is famous. Have lunch at a restaurant before continuing to Sukhothai, Thailand's first capital, which flourished during the 13th and 14th centuries. Drive on to Pitsanuloke, where you will stay the night after visiting a factory at which Buddha statues are made, and Wat Phra Srirattana Mahathat, a "living" temple where people go daily to pray.

Have breakfast before leaving Pitsanuloke for Lopburi. Continue to Ayuthaya, the capital of Thailand from 1350 to 1767, and see some of the many important historical sites. Visit nearby Bang-pa In, the beautiful summer palace. After lunch in Ayuthaya, leave for Bangkok, where you will transfer to hotel on arrival.
